Wildwood Day Camp is held one week in July in Wildwood Park, which is located in Puyallup among lush forests that give the illusion of being deep in the woods. Campers enjoy a relaxed open atmosphere in a natural environment that provides a variety of activities including outdoor cooking, crafts, archery and games.

Campers meet new friends and gain self-confidence while acquiring new skills. For generations, Camp Fire USA has provided quality programs for youth designed to build character and self-awareness, foster relationships and a love of the outdoors, and ultimately challenge the true adventurer in each camper.

Wildwood Day Camp is open to boys and girls.

Do you want to volunteer at camp? Here's how: 1. Eligibility: Wildwood Staff Applicants must have passed the CAT program or be entering 9th grade or be 14+ years old.  Camp Orca Applicants must have passed the SIT program or be entering 12th grade or be 18+ years old. 2. Download and complete the Camp Staff Application Packet, which includes: Positions available Training Dates Staff Behavior & Behavior Management Agreements Member Registration Medical Form Personal Reference Forms. 3. Return the packet to the Camp Fire office: PO BOX 18170, Tacoma WA 98419. Once your application is received, you will be interviewed, attend Risk Management Training, and complete additional training for the specific camp where you will work. 4. Review the Camp Manual and  Camp Manual Quiz.
