MARVELOUS MOM
and DO DAD EMBLEMS
Youth activities for members of
Camp Fire USA follow the motto “Give Service.” Parents of youth
members can set good examples by giving time and talents in support
of their child’s commitment to being a member of Camp Fire USA.
Requirements: 10 hours of
service by parent/guardian. A parent/guardian with more than one
child in Camp Fire USA must earn 10 hours for each child. Time spent
on helping at club or council activities may be applied to one child
or divided among children. In the case of a club leader it is
suggested that she/he serve as helper for a second child’s club or
help with a council event.
Guidelines: Worthwhile
service will involve the parent as a positive role model to the
children, share special skills and knowledge, develop cooperative
and positive attitudes, gain knowledge of Camp Fire USA, and provide
valuable assistance to the club leader. Award may be earned
annually.
